Accessibility
Last updated 3 October 2026.
I want everyone to be able to use this site. That includes people who use a screen reader, a keyboard only, or a zoomed in screen. I aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What the site does
- Every page has real headings, and every picture has words that say what is in it.
- You can reach every link, button and form question with a keyboard. A "Skip to the page" link is the first thing the keyboard reaches.
- Text and background colours are checked for contrast.
- The text still works when you zoom in.
- If your device asks for less motion, the animations stop and everything shows finished.
- The whole page still reads without JavaScript.
- The form says plainly what is missing, next to the question it belongs to.
What I know is not perfect yet
- Some parts tell a story with moving pictures, like the 34 dots for the Arizona result. The same facts are written out as plain text on the same page.
- The example ads are pictures with words in them. Their description says what they say.
